Mobile Water Treatment · Emergency Supply

Water has to arrive where there is no infrastructure.

A compact trailer-based treatment unit for drinking-water supply during failures, outages, floods and emergency situations. The source is assessed first; the treatment configuration follows from the water.

Nominal output2 m³/h

Continuous treatment according to source quality and final configuration.

Net daily output45 m³/day

Design output after automatic membrane backwash losses.

Mobilityup to 3.5 t

Trailer-based unit for rapid relocation and field deployment.

Deployment

Tow it in. Connect it. Start it. Supply water.

Water within fifteen minutes of arrival.

The unit is designed for rapid field set-up without site preparation. Water intake and delivery lines are connected through quick couplings, the system starts, the permeate tank fills and treated water is available for distribution.

Step 01< 5 min

Connect

Intake and delivery hoses are connected and the unit is started.

Step 029 min

Build reserve

The 300-litre permeate tank fills at approximately 33 litres per minute.

Step 03≤ 15 min

Supply

Treated water reaches the outlet and can be distributed.

The permeate tank is not a delay. It is the operating reserve for automatic membrane backwashing and continuous field operation.

Purpose

It is not about litres per hour. It is about water at the right time and the right place.

Emergency supply begins before the pump starts. The source, the incident and the intended use determine which barriers are needed.

A flood-affected river with high turbidity needs a different operating strategy from a reservoir with seasonal biological growth. A source affected by an unknown spill may need to be rejected completely. The unit is therefore a configurable treatment platform, not one universal box.

01 · Failure

Interrupted mains supply

Replacement supply for municipalities, hospitals, schools, social facilities or critical operations.

02 · Flood

Affected source

High turbidity, microbiological risk and changing raw-water quality require continuous supervision.

03 · Field

Temporary supply

Remote areas, response bases, camps and sites without stable water infrastructure.

Limits

A mobile plant is not a universal answer. It has to know its source.

Not every source can be safely treated in the same configuration.

Groundwater with dissolved iron and manganese, high salinity, certain metals, radionuclides or an unknown spill may require additional treatment, laboratory assessment or exclusion of the source.

A responsible system must also be able to say: we will not use this source.

  • source safety and abstraction feasibility,
  • turbidity, conductivity, pH and field parameters,
  • microbiological and chemical risk,
  • required volume and intended use,
  • availability of power, fuel and operators,
  • method of delivery and hygienic securing.
Input data

For a first deployment proposal we need six specific pieces of information.

01

Type of event

Failure, flood, outage, emergency supply or long-term field operation.

02

Water source

River, stream, reservoir, pond or another available source.

03

Available analysis

Turbidity, microbiology, chemistry, conductivity and incident information.

04

Required output

Hourly demand, daily volume, number of draw-off points and delivery regime.

05

Deployment site

Access, ground, space, climate, power and disposal of backwash water.

06

Intended use

Drinking, cooking, hygiene, medical operations or technical water.

Capacity

One unit. Thousands of people per day.

At a net daily output of 45 m³, the number of people supplied depends on the emergency allocation.

5 l / person / day9,000

Initial emergency rationing.

10 l / person / day4,500

Drinking water and basic hygiene.

15 l / person / day3,000

Stabilised longer deployment.

20 l / person / day2,250

Extended supply and medical operations.

Treatment path

Six consecutive stages. One operating system.

01

Raw-water intake

River, stream, reservoir, pond, hydrant or temporary storage after basic source assessment.

02

Plate pre-filtration

Protection from coarse solids and reduction of the particle load.

03

Ceramic ultrafiltration

A robust barrier for turbidity, sediment, microorganisms and particles above the membrane cut-off.

04

ART CARBON polishing

Targeted treatment of selected dissolved substances in a compact adsorption stage.

05

ClO₂ disinfection

Flow-proportional final disinfection downstream of the adsorption stage.

06

Storage and delivery

Balancing tank, controlled draw-off and distribution to containers or a temporary line.

The order matters. Each barrier solves a different part of the water-quality problem.

Configuration

Output matters. Sustained operation matters just as much.

Hydraulics5.0–5.5 bar

Design working pressure for stable flow and automatic sequences.

Backwashing≈ 3 m³/day

Indicative water use for automatic membrane backwash cycles.

Storage300 l

Permeate tank between treatment and delivery; also the backwash-water source.

Power9 kVA

Inverter diesel generator for extended autonomous operation.

CNT cartridge150–200 m³

Indicative service capacity depending on raw water and operating regime.

Service< 10 min

Fast replacement of the media bag without dismantling the process line.

Actual output, media capacity, energy use and service frequency are verified against the real source and operating load.

Principle

No single technology does everything. That is why the barriers complement each other.

Mechanical stability

Ceramic ultrafiltration

Provides a stable physical barrier against turbidity, particles and a large part of the microbiological load.

Targeted polishing

ART CARBON

Used for selected dissolved substances according to source quality, target compounds and contact conditions.

Final security

Monitoring and operating regime

Sampling, control points, operating records and procedures for changes in source quality remain essential.

The system does not desalinate water. High salinity may require a separate reverse-osmosis stage.

Field operation

The technology has to work where there is no service hall.

01

Rapid set-up

Trailer unit with clearly defined connection points and field logistics.

02

Insulated enclosure

PIR-insulated cabinet for year-round operation.

03

Remote oversight

Turbidity, ClO₂ residual, pH and temperature monitored on a mobile dashboard.

04

Fail-safe operation

Level sensors and pump logic prevent overflow and uncontrolled gravity feed.

Scope of supply

You are not buying a catalogue set. You are buying what you are missing.

Scope A

Complete trailer unit

Technology, enclosure, generator and trailer as one finished deployable assembly.

Scope B

Containerised version

Higher-output configuration for long deployment and regional reserve capacity.

Scope C

Technology frames only

For installation into your own trailer, container or fixed building.

Scope D

Without generator

For sites with reliable mains power or an existing power source.
